As the Chinese smartphone manufacturer makes its return to India, the Honor 90 is slated to be the first smartphone to make its debut – Honor Return to Indian Market.
Honor Return to Indian Market has confirmed its comeback to India, and the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will soon debut new models in the nation. Nearly three years after relying on Noida-based PSAV Global to distribute its handsets in India, Honor is scheduled to launch phones that were first introduced in the Chinese market earlier this year, such as the Honor 90. Honor Tech India accounts on X (previously known as Twitter) and Instagram have recently begun promising a reappearance in the nation.
Madhav Sheth, who stepped down as Realme Vice President for Business and Corporate Strategy in June, took to X to tease the introduction of new Honor-branded smartphones in India.Sheth did not specify which device will be the first to arrive in the country when he recently revealed his partnership with the Chinese phone maker. According to a recent source, the Honor 90 would be available in India in September.

Earlier this year, the company debuted the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro in China, both boasting a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and up to 16GB of RAM. The phone has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,200 x 2,664 pixel) curved OLED display with a peak brightness of 1,600 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The Honor 90 features a 200-megapixel primary camera for photography and movies. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor are also part of the triple back camera arrangement. In the meantime, a 50-megapixel front-facing camera handles selfies and video chats.
The Honor 90 offers internal storage of up to 512GB. The smartphone’s connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, W-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C connection. The phone comes pre-installed with Android 13-based MagicOS 7.1 and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 66W rapid charging.
