The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is likely to supersede the Galaxy S23 range, which was released in February of this year with three models – Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The rumored Galaxy S24 variants are also expected to feature battery, display, camera, and other relevant improvements over the previous handsets. A few postings and leaks have hinted at the rumored series’ details.
According to a GalaxyClub rumor, the standard Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ models are slated to get battery enhancements over their predecessors. According to the rumor, the standard Galaxy S24 will most likely have a 4,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S24+ will most likely have a 4,900mAh battery. If this is accurate, the new phones will have larger batteries than the 3,900mAh and 4,700mAh batteries seen in the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+, respectively. The Galaxy S24 Ultra variant is expected to keep the same 5,000mAh battery as the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Meanwhile, according to a recent claim, the Galaxy S24 Plus will be powered by a battery with a reported capacity of 4,755mAh, while the Ultra model will be powered by a battery with a rated capacity of 4,855mAh.
The high-end Galaxy S24 Ultra is also expected to have a 200-megapixel Samsung HP2 primary rear sensor and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX564 sensor with an ultra-wide lens.
The improved screens may aid in the weight reduction of the phones as well as the efficient use of electricity.
